Reading an activity feed without over-reading it

What a digital transaction feed can show, and what must come from another record.

An activity feed can provide transaction identifiers, timestamps, addresses, token quantities, and event types. Preserve the network name and contract address with the record. Without that context, an address or transaction identifier can be ambiguous.

Then write a second list called “not established.” A transfer event does not by itself establish beneficial ownership, eligibility, payment, property condition, current rent, or compliance with an agreement. Those facts require other records.

Look for administrative events as well as transfers. Pauses, role changes, contract upgrades, minting, burning, and allowlist changes can affect what holders can do. If the interface replaces technical events with friendly labels, compare the label with the underlying event before relying on it.

Keep the observation factual: what happened on the digital record, at what time, under which contract. Put legal or economic conclusions in a separate section with their own sources.
